All the things in my head… far too many to remember at once!
So other than the day to day stuff of going to work, what am I up to? Well I’m mocking up some ideas about how the otherwise brilliant UI of mac OSX should look. Generally, it’s all gravy, but there a couple of old cocoa hangovers that need to be gone – do those OS 8 style sliders not piss you off? They’ve got to go! More keyboard shortcuts to go to folders other than applications and utilities… I want to assign drop-box folder, music…
Ubuntu Linux: Some might say that this is the beginners linux. I say they’re more than likely right, but very wrong in the same sentance. I’ve heard people say that OSX is just an easy on the eye point and click interface that doesn’t allow for any great use. I say bullshit. OSX is the finest OS going and under the hood is a very powerful *NIX core that is more powerful and useful than Windows… but I guess that people that are happy to use something built on the 40 year old code of DOS are just crying out for some re-education.
Oh, and there’s the photography, art, design stuff that I was doing as well… and what about decorating the bedroom?
